About True Friend Beagles

Welcome to True Friend Beagles, a small family-based Beagle breeder proudly located in Cody, Wyoming. For the past 14 years, our family has been raising Beagle puppies from the comfort of our home with love, care, and hands-on attention every step of the way.

At True Friend Beagles, we are not a large breeding company, kennel operation, or puppy mill. We are a dedicated family who truly loves the Beagle breed and believes puppies should be raised in a warm, caring home environment. Every puppy is part of our daily family life, where they receive socialization, affection, and proper care from all members of our household.

We breed responsibly and carefully, only having litters once every two years. Because of this, we do not always have puppies available, but this allows us to focus on quality, health, and giving each puppy the attention they deserve.

Our Commitment

Our goal is to raise healthy, happy, well-adjusted Beagle puppies that will become loyal companions and true friends to their new families. We take pride in matching our puppies with loving homes where they will be cherished for life.

Pickup Preferred

Most of our families are located within the state or nearby areas, and many choose to visit us in person for pickup. We truly enjoy meeting our buyers face-to-face because it gives you the opportunity to:

See our puppies in person
Meet us and ask questions
Interact with the puppies directly
Feel confident and comfortable with your decision
Avoid the stress and uncertainty of shipping

We strongly encourage pickup whenever possible, as we believe it creates the best experience for both our puppies and their new families.

Delivery / Shipping Options

In some situations, delivery may be available depending on the buyer and location. However, the well-being of our puppies always comes first. We carefully review each inquiry and may ask a few questions to better understand your home, lifestyle, and readiness for a Beagle puppy. This helps us make sure our puppies go to safe, loving, and suitable homes.

When we brought our first puppy ‘Hope’ home, it wasn’t very long before we were back to add another. Next we added tiny ‘Bella’. We can’t imagine our lives without these precious babies. I’ve never had a dog like this before. They’re happy, healthy and truly do have the most amazing temperament. The extra effort this breeder puts into training her puppies shows. Our dogs were both potty trained and purse trained by the time we got them. Who knows? They’re addictive…we may be back for one more!

Jules is still doing really well. She is so good at taking baths, having her nails trimmed, and teeth brushed. You must have practiced with her.

Making the transition

To help you get started, each puppy comes with a puppy go home kit including:

1. OFA certification for eyes

2. Veterinary certification showing clean bill of health

3. ACA registration paperwork

4. New puppy how to guide containing information on grooming, potty training, feeding and more

5. High quality canned dog food

6. High quality starter pack of dry dog food and coupons

7. Soft snuggle blankie with the sweet smell of your puppy’s mommy, to ease the transition to their new home

9. Body harness fitted to your puppy & leash

We want to make the transition from our home to yours and easy one for you and your new forever friend. Our commitment to you does not end when your puppy goes home. We are also available to answer your questions at any time. Each puppy is raised with tender loving care, and we want to make sure the transition is as smooth as possible.
